The Cross in Mark - Murray Lambert

"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45) 

Mark is the oldest of the four gospels and portrays Jesus as a Suffering Servant. But in a life of privellige and abundance, what does it mean for us to take up our cross and follow Jesus?
